Hi Everyone

We are at the situation where everyone has passed except:

Everyone's progress is recorded on the class progress sheet which you can see at any time, just ask.

There is still 3 weeks to go including today, so time to get things done/fixed.

Any questions on any on the outcomes, just ask.

Session 8

Hi Everyone

I think we are at the stage where everyone has completed all the required tasks, or is still in the process of doing so.

Don't worry, there is still another 4 weeks to go including today's session.

Any questions on outstanding work, please ask!

I will be busy checking off all the required elements for each of you so that you can get finished.

Please be patient as this takes a bit of time. I will approach you if there is anything outstanding that is required.

Only Kevin, who was absent last week, has not sat the closed book test. Everyone else has passed, Well Done!

Basically everything I need for to pass you is:

• Completed weblog evaluation sheets with accompanying paperwork
• A weblog that you have created with all the required elements with accompanying paperwork
• A pass in the closed book test which is scheduled for next week

Session 5

Hi Everyone

A few points to be highlighted this week:

• Everyone now has a blog except for Hugh. Please make sure that you update this at least weekly. Also ensure that you have all the elements present as listed in an earlier posting
• Still awaiting the Weblog Evaluation from Jamie, Hugh and Carlos
• The closed book test is 2 weeks from today. Please ensure that you are ready for this by completing the revision sheet handed out last week. You should look over this sheet so that you can remember some of the material
• There is a class progress sheet so everyone can see how they are progressing. If you have not seen this, just ask.

Session 4

Hi Everyone

Things seem to be progressing well. Some of you have already done your weblog evaluations. If you have not done these yet, you need to get it done urgently.

I have scheduled the closed book test for Tuesday 18th May. You can do some revision by copying the Revision sheet provided for you on the college server and completing this by using the course notes.

The trick is trying to remember the information for the test.

If anyone is in any doubt as to what they need to be doing please ask.

Session 3

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a good break and have came back with all your original enthusiasm restored.

I am needing everyone's handout entitiled "Outcomes 1,2(b) & 3(b)" involving the weblog evaluations handed in for marking. (For further details refer to earlier posts)

Regarding the content of your blog; this is detailed in the handout entitiled "Outcome 2(a) & 3(a)". To summarise your blog must contain the following:

• An introduction stating who you are, what you are studying, and what your blog is about
• A College progress section
• Links to other webpages related to your blog topic (At least 3)
• Links to some of the other blogs created by your class (At least 2) including the class blog. (http://www.nq2weblogs.blogspot.com/)
• Follow the class blog
• Photographs related to the blog topic
• Video links with sound related to the blog topic
• RSS Newsfeeds (At least 5) from different sources

As well as this the section for Outcome 3(a) completed.

Check of the Checklist at the bottom ensuring that you have completed all of the above.

We are on the home straight for your course now, keep working hard and you will succeed

Session 2

Hi there everyone

Hope you are all doing ok.

Everyone should be active doing one of the following:

• Completing the O1 handout sheet, from last week, which involves reference to the class notes
• Completing the Weblog Evaluation sheets (5 in total). Definitions of the criteria can be found in the notes also
• Creating your own Weblog. More details will be provided in this session regarding the required content of your Weblog

Handouts this session are O2(a) and O3(a) sheet which relates to required Weblog content.

Once the O1 sheet with all the weblog evaluation sheets are completed please pass them to me so that I can mark these. Your URLs for the Weblogs must be clear as I need to check the appropriate addresses

Session 1

Hi there

In our first session on weblogs we have done the following:

• Introduction to the unit with a basic overview
• Explain the function of the Classroom Blog
• Got started looking at weblog notes and filling in the paperwork for O1
• Need suggestions for the subject of your blog that you will create
• Folios handed out to keep all Weblog evidence together
