Session 3

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a good break and have came back with all your original enthusiasm restored.

I am needing everyone's handout entitiled "Outcomes 1,2(b) & 3(b)" involving the weblog evaluations handed in for marking. (For further details refer to earlier posts)

Regarding the content of your blog; this is detailed in the handout entitiled "Outcome 2(a) & 3(a)". To summarise your blog must contain the following:

• An introduction stating who you are, what you are studying, and what your blog is about
• A College progress section
• Links to other webpages related to your blog topic (At least 3)
• Links to some of the other blogs created by your class (At least 2) including the class blog. (http://www.nq2weblogs.blogspot.com/)
• Follow the class blog
• Photographs related to the blog topic
• Video links with sound related to the blog topic
• RSS Newsfeeds (At least 5) from different sources

As well as this the section for Outcome 3(a) completed.

Check of the Checklist at the bottom ensuring that you have completed all of the above.

We are on the home straight for your course now, keep working hard and you will succeed

Session 2

Hi there everyone

Hope you are all doing ok.

Everyone should be active doing one of the following:

• Completing the O1 handout sheet, from last week, which involves reference to the class notes
• Completing the Weblog Evaluation sheets (5 in total). Definitions of the criteria can be found in the notes also
• Creating your own Weblog. More details will be provided in this session regarding the required content of your Weblog

Handouts this session are O2(a) and O3(a) sheet which relates to required Weblog content.

Once the O1 sheet with all the weblog evaluation sheets are completed please pass them to me so that I can mark these. Your URLs for the Weblogs must be clear as I need to check the appropriate addresses

Session 1

Hi there

In our first session on weblogs we have done the following:

• Introduction to the unit with a basic overview
• Explain the function of the Classroom Blog
• Got started looking at weblog notes and filling in the paperwork for O1
• Need suggestions for the subject of your blog that you will create
• Folios handed out to keep all Weblog evidence together

The Start

Hi there just created this weblog so the class can freely communicate with me on the course. Whether you are in College or on a computer elsewhere. Everyone's weblog will eventually be linked to here. I can then see these as they develop. I am going to need everyones' blog address once they have been created.

This class blog will be regularly updated by me so that everyone will know exactly what is going on and what is required of them.

There are 3 Outcomes:

O1) Locate and review blogs of various types

O2) Create a blog of your own to perform a specific information task

O3) Track selected blogs

ASSESSMENTS:

O1) Activity with related questions

O2) Activity with related paperwork to complete

O3) Activity with related paperwork to complete

AND Overall quiz of 20 questions
